Unlike some billing services, we don’t sell practice management (billing) software and we don’t require you to purchase our software.  We think that’s a ridiculous requirement just to work with us.   We usually do all of the billing through our own practice management system, but in some circumstances, we might be able to remote access your software.  We are well versed in billing through ChiroTouch and Medisoft and have some experience in other programs.

This will vary depending on if we are billing through our system or remoting into yours.  Regardless of which software we use, we do just about everything your own in-house billing person would do.  We electronically submit charges to insurance, post insurance and patient payments, and bill your patients for any remaining balance after insurance pays.  We also follow up on any unpaid claims, and appeal erroneously denied claims.  At the end of the month we furnish the provider with reports showing what was billed out, what was collected, and what is still outstanding.  Give us a call and we can discuss exactly how the process will work with your clinic.

Medical Business Consulting charges a percentage of your monthly receipts – not a percentage of what you bill out like some billing services.  Since we don’t get paid until you get paid, it makes it cost effective for you and motivates us to collect everything that is due to you.

Absolutely!  We know a few of our competitors will only submit your claims, but not send bills to your patients or even answer your patient’s questions – but they still expect to be paid for their “services” even though they don’t complete the entire process.  Medical Business Consulting is a full-service billing company which means we take care of everything from start to finish…including patient statements and answering their questions.
